St Swithin’s was relaunched in October 2014 by a team sent by Holy Trinity Brompton, at the invitation of the Bishop of Lincoln and we are now a lively and growing church with a variety of ages meeting across three Sunday congregations at St. Swithin’s and 2 congregations at St. Faith’s. We have also planted to Grimsby and are looking to plant again in the near future.

WORSHIP PASTOR (with intergenerational focus)

This is a unique and pioneering role for a dynamic leader, with a passion for intergenerational worship and ministry and a gifting for growing and releasing individuals in the context of teams to lead.

Whilst there will inevitably be a measure of being ‘hands on’, this role is not all about you ‘doing’ all the worship. This role is about releasing the whole body of the church (across generations) to discover and use their gifts to grow and develop in our worshipping life and to effectively reach and disciple young people in that intergenerational / worship for everyone context.

Neither will you be left to do all this alone. You will work closely and collaboratively with our clergy, our worship for everyone lead and our ministry leads as well as leaders and teams from across our congregations.

We have an inter-generational emphasis that is central to our ecclesiology and therefore our model and practice. We believe God has called us to intentionally create space for us to learn from one another across generations as we seek to encounter the love of God, learn to live like Jesus and go in the power of the Spirit to see lives and communities transformed. We envision that the this role will enable us to continue to develop our model and practice of being an intergenerational church impacting both our gathered settings on a Sunday as well as our various midweek settings.

CHURCH LIFE ADMINISTRATOR & FACILITATOR

This is an exciting new FT role at the heart of making church life work. Part of the operational and admin team, this role will be fundamental in helping every aspect of church life run smoothly.
