Were going away – together!

We’re so excited to announce our first ever Church Weekend Away — a chance for our whole church family across St Swithin’s, St Faith’s, and all five congregations to come together for a weekend of worship, rest, and fun.

Our theme for the weekend is “Growing in Faith and Growing in Family.”

This will be a special time to:
- Grow together as family – share meals, chat over coffee, join walks or games, and enjoy being together (no washing up – it’s fully catered!).
- Grow together in faith – through worship, teaching, prayer, and reflection, with dedicated sessions for children and youth.

For Saints Youth

We know how much you love a youth weekend away — and this one’s got your name on it. You’ll join the wider church for meals and some main sessions, but also have your own space and programme including:
- Late-night worship
- Wide games and outdoor activities
- Time away together as a youth family

You’ll stay in a separate part of the site and still enjoy all the facilities — including a sports hall and plenty of outdoor space.

If your parent or guardian isn’t able to join us - don’t worry there’s still a place for you and our brilliant youth team will make sure you’re all good during the weekend.

Tickets and Prices

We’ve worked hard to make the weekend as affordable as possible, with discounts for families and those serving on team. The cost includes two nights’ accommodation, all meals, full use of the facilities, and the weekend’s worship and teaching programme.

Ticket Type Early Bird Price Full Price Notes
Adult (18+) £160 £185 Standard early rate
Youth (yr6+) £120 £135 Includes Saints Youth programme
Child 4+ £80 £90 Includes Kids' sessions
Child 1–3 £30 £30 Includes group during AM main session

Generosity & Affordability

We’ve subsidised part of the cost as a church to keep prices down, and there are three ways you can help or be helped:
1. Pay it forward: Buy a full-cost ticket if you’re able to, helping make the weekend accessible for others.
2. Apply for a bursary: If cost is a barrier, please email jim.prestwood@stswithins.org.uk – we’d love everyone who wants to come to be able to.
3. Generously Give: Choose the “Generous Giving” ticket option to help cover the cost for someone else to attend.

How to Book

Secure your ticket at the early bird rate by paying a £20 deposit per person by Sunday 2nd November 2025.

When booking, please indicate the ticket type for each person. We’ll then invoice you for the remaining balance.

We can arrange to invoice you for the full amount or alternatively if you prefer, you can pay by instalments as follows:
- 1/3 of total due by 7th December 2025
- 2/3 of total due by 11th January 2026
- Full balance due by 1st March 2026

  • Can I come for part of the weekend?

We’d love everyone to experience the whole weekend if possible, but if you can only make part of it, please get in touch — we’ll do our best to make it work. We will publish a day rate and tickets nearer the event.

Why Come?

This is going to be a significant and joy-filled moment in the life of our church — a time to deepen friendships, encounter God, and grow stronger together as a family of faith.

We’d love every member of the family to be there — it won’t be the same without you.

With love,

Jim & Vicky
and the St Swithin’s & St Faith’s Team
